Vegetable Tanned

It feels so much fun to see how beautifully the vegetable tanned cowhide leathers age  year by year

Here are my personal UES belt and Kawatako Takumi short wallet which are all made of finest japanese vegetable tanned cowhide leathers , so let's see the way they are aging~

 The UES vegetable tanned leather belt is used over 2 years, in the first year, I use it for 5 days per week and every half year I did leather care once, after first year, it becomes my weekend belt (2days/week) and never do a leather care once ( i totally forgot I already used it over 2 years...)

 the edge of belt is kind of softest area in this belt

 somewhere feels like suede leather ~

 the buckle feels so rusty now , isnt it?

 some indigo is on the back side~ You can see how often i wear denims~

 the edge ihas some little crackles now

 the belt is perfectly hand stiched by japanese craft man , It is still strong enough for good use

I keep on using it over 1 year, i am so so surprised how strong the wallet is ! the shape is super good even better than the brand new one!

 the brass key hook is more shinny

I started to use it from Feb of 2012 , it is kind of proof~
