SOC X CORLECTION "Type 1" Indigo Dyed Duck Jacket 6 months in use

I have been wearing SOC X CORLECTION "Type 1" Indigo Dyed Duck Jacket over 6 months and there is no surprise this jacket becomes my favourite one ~ The reasons are as below :

1. I own so many denim jackets so I would like to try some different selvaged garments  but not denims to match with my selvage denim pants .

2. The jacket is indigo dyed (indigo is my favourite color) and it also age nicely with wears but comparing to denims, it age in its own way that i did not never experience before!

3. The cutting is amazing for a fashionable look ! For most of the Ranch jacket , the sleeves were always baggy and the vertical length was always too short for most of people . However, the cutting for this jacket is in slim cut and fits perfectly on me ~

I started to wear this jacket on 3rd of March , 2014 . It was not the perfect weather ( around 30 to 35 degree Australian summer time for most of days) so I only wear it 1 day/week in first 2 months and after the weather turns to be colder, I always wear it 2 days/week with my loopwheel sweatshirts underneath ...  Then I just did a warm machine wash last weekend and here are the photos of fades as below~

This duck jacket stacks quite well (like some thick papers) so i find many little "lightning fades" in different areas after the first wash

After half a year in use , some beautiful roping fades appear in the edge of front chest pocket and collar

And also some beautiful lightning fades appear in the armholes

some roping fades appear in the hem of the jacket

All the buttons of this jacket have leather backed so I always love to roll up a little bit in the sleeves to show off the leather backed design , after half a year in use, the interior of the cuffs age so nicely which have big contrast fades comparing to sleeves

Check out the back side of this jacket, the color still remains quite dark however if you get close to see, you will find some little vertical fades appear and also some different indigo colors knots come out nicely ~

The indigo dyed duck is quite different comparing to denims, it feels even much drier and appear some turquoise (brighter indigo color) with wears... If you own some denim jackets and wanna try something different , we highly recommend you should give a try for this duck jacket~
