Kawatako Takumi "Gold" (Type S) Short Wallet 14 Months In Use

This is the Kawatako Takumi series "Gold" tanned short wallet which has been used for 14 months. Its owner uses it everyday and the wallet itself was undamaged at all. The entire outside has aged into a golden-orange colour with striking contrast. with the outskirts and parts which constantly in contact with the denim, the colour has become some dark brown colours and has more special sheens with uses . However the inside of the wallet still remains in some original golden colours. 

Even being "under his butt" for a 14 month period, the shape has barely changed at all although the leather has been softened a lot. According to the owner, it's becoming more and more functional and convenient to use throughout using. The wallet is carefully crafted into the very details such as a single stitch or a rivet. After the using period, the leather has also come to a better texture. If you look close enough you can feel the leather is still "breathing".
